Quite surprised to find the Always Here If you Need Me award waiting in my inbox this a.m., compliments of a fellow voracious reader and writer, Julian Froment. As I have been remiss in doing my duty in the awards arena, I vow to get caught up on all of them, today! So get ready for a slew of wonderful blogs to visit!
The rules for this award are:
- Post a picture of the award somewhere on your blog.
- List 5 things that make you happy.
- Choose 3 people to nominate who have been a virtual shoulder to cry on, checked in on you when they knew things were rough, or have always been there for you.
- Comment on their blogs and let them know of the nomination.
5 Things that make me happy
Sitting in the quiet of a summer night, or that magical moment just before sunrise – when the calm of the world enters my soul.
Finding out that something I said or wrote helped someone else through a rough patch.
Having a whole day to write without having to do any pesky chores, like cooking, cleaning the bathroom, laundry…
Going to sleep on fresh, dried-by-wind-and-sunshine bed sheets.
When one of my cockamamie inventions actually works, perfectly, the first time around.
Nominate 3 people who are there for me
Aw…c’mon…only 3?!? This is why I get behind on awards – the nominees portion of the drill always trips me up! Anyone mind if I break with precedent and nominate more? Great, let’s get started then…
Here are the folks that inspire, motivate and check in on me. They share the joy of triumphs, appear with hugs & hankies when heartbreak appears and never, ever, fail to truly make me Laugh Out Loud:
Thanks for being gracious. I noticed the award free blog art AFTER I had already nominated you! And thanks for the mention!

Hey Tamrah, doesn’t look great that I’m late for the ‘always here…’ award 🙂
I think you know that I am not big on awards but this one seems somehow appropriate for the work I do, so it does make me happy!! Thanks so much xox

I suspected, but, I decided to do the awards like I give gifts – Once it’s been handed to you, it’s yours to do with (or not) as you will – but the sentiment it was sent with does not change! And there is no such thing as ‘late’ in cyberworld – – LOL

Congrats on this award , which could be renamed The Ballybin, and am touched that you included me in this group!
I agree that I have found no online community such as this and feel I had been guided here.
