Carry On…

Too many things I’m still ‘thinking about’ but I really ought to update my blog feed so folks don’t think I died, right?

Thus, until further notice, this is all I have to post/say on my blog, right now – I’m drained of anything creative, and am in total reactionary/survival mode – not a bad thing, apparently, I just needed a ‘reminder’ on such things –

Song of the Past few Weeks

I love the lyrics, the music – the blend of voices in harmony – the meld of strings that whine and speak loud or softly play the grounding backdrop.

I Love most of all, on so many fronts, the 2nd verse of lyrics:

Masquerading as a man with a reason
My charade is the event of the season
And if I claim to be a wise man, well
It surely means that I don't know
On a stormy sea of moving emotion
Tossed about I'm like a ship on the ocean
I set a course for winds of fortune
But I hear the voices say

And tonight? I’m lost in the music – and remembered, too the lyrics, music, voices that carried out the “Don’t Stop Believing” message –

  1. Many groups and song writers of the 70’s and 80’s had creative and meaningful lyrics.
I haven’t been in the mood to write in a very long time. What’s happening in our country has me depressed and holing up in my protective den, so to speak. I’m surviving like a wild thing I guess.
