Follows are some of my favorite sites where I can keep up on items of interest to me:
An organization founded on educating others while pursuing research geared towards validating the nutritional wisdom of Weston A. Price, this is my Go To when I’m pondering dietary issues. Based on research regarding the health and well-being of indigenous cultures with Traditional Diets as well as the deterioration of health that follows once a western or ‘civilized’ diet replaces simpler menus, I find the information here to be well-notated and approached from an in-depth look at the many studies conducted regarding health and nutrition. Also a great place to help you in your quest to identify organic and local food resources.
There are times when I remember part of something, but not the whole and really do want to share the ‘right story’. Wikipedia never fails to either answer my question or point me in the right direction. It’s my favorite of all the online resources.
My most treasured inheritance from my father, other than the years I spent under his tutelage, is his collection of Mother Earth News magazines. While I love re-reading them in the dark days of winter, Mother Earth News online is my go-to when I want to do a project, or learn about new breakthroughs in sustainable living.
